Should I paint this black???

Try to get it up more. Try cutting the hangers some to have it sit higher. And I would paint it a flat black..

I painted my tanabe racing medealion, intercooler end caps and pipes black with plastic-kote engine enamel. Been 6 months with no problems yet. Going for the sleeper look.

p.s. I've never painted a muffer, but DEI makes black silicon paint for headers. I put some (silver colour) on my headers (ss) and straight pipe (plain steel) and neither show any wear after 2 months.

reason I wanted to paint them black is for less show. THe damn things hang a little too low for look but they're fine with driving. I'm going to take it to the muffler shop and see if they can raise it up a little..I doubt it though..
it's SS so it doesn't rust...I live in texas...hardly anything ever rusts over here anyways...

I donno, I think the paint will burn/flake off and look crappy. I think it looks fine now. Needs a bit of a wash though.

I've haven't heard about anybody with one of those Mugen type "double pass" mufflers. How do you like it? Is it pretty quiet? Lots less than the $1000 Mugen wants for theirs, huh?
